 Our Wilderness Island Resort is 206 miles north
of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. There are no other resorts
on the north end of Lake Wabatongushi, in the Chapleau
Game Preserve. We are accessible by the famous Algoma
Central Railway or by float plane.
Travel Distances from Major Cities
 Board the train at Sault Ste. Marie in the
morning and take a delightful seven hour journey into the Canadian
Shield. Stop for approximately 2 hours at majestic Agawa Canyon,
past Hawk Junction to Lake Wabatongushi.
 Your Hosts, the Erringtons, will meet you at the railroad
landing and escort you on the 15 minute pontoon boat ride to
the island.
